Mohd Akib bin Rashid
Mohd Akib bin Rashid was appointed as a Director of Corporate Affairs / Executive Director of Triumphant Gallery Sdn Bhd on 1st January 2012.
His career started with Malaysia Airlines in 1979. In 1995, Mohd Akib was promoted to Building Manager and subsequently in 1997, he became the Property Controller (Station Development) with Malaysia Airlines in charge of administration and implementation of major projects and managed all the interior development works for MAS properties including offices and airline lounges locally and abroad.
He was also the General Manager of LCL Furniture Sdn Bhd. When the company was listed in 2004, Mohd Akib was appointed as Group Executive Director of LCL Corporation Bhd and also a member of the Executive Committee of the Board.
With his extensive exposure and experience in the interior fit-out business, he was instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of prestigious projects both in Malaysia and overseas.
Some of the projects he was involved in whilst in LCL were the fit-out works to Westin and Sheraton Hotel in Langkawi, Impiana Hotel, Traders Hotel and KL Convention Centre in KLCC, Wisma Putra, Perdana Leadership Foundation, National Registration Department, Ministry of Enterprenuer, Ministry of Finance, Auditorium PJC and PICC in Putrajaya and Embassies and overseas missions in Washington, London and Beijing.
